I've been a boxing fan long enough to not get my panties in a bunch about the things that you mentioned because they have been occurring for decades. You have a stick up your behind for Alvarez and one in your mouth for GGG. I get it. Just know that when they weigh Alvarez career and resume against history, it will hold up because he fought the best of his era and while he arguably lost multiple fights he got the nod in, he also arguably won those fights. Now the guy you slick try and defend by attacking Alvarez, well he has no career defining moment. Didn't win all the belts, didn't move up and fight bigger men, didn't definitely defeat any other p4p fighter.

When they review his career there will be an asterisk behind everyone of his catchweight fights when they compare him to other fighters. That's a certainty.

You are trying to rationalize it too much. That's not how the market works. If Andrade was as much of a draw as GGG he would be the one with $100m deal. Interest to a fight is not driven what boxing historians think or how it looks on paper.

Some people seem to be giving stick to GGG for wanting to fight the best, but not other good ones. It puzzles me. GGG is being penalized by aiming at the very top. Some people are just that much of haters that their dislikes just don't allow them to look at things objectively. Right?

if ggg fights canelo next then no one can ****t on it, but if he doesnt get canelo he better fight someone worth and not use canelos name as an excuse for another mismatch...

Isn't that what he said in the first place. What is gained by trying to argue that GGG Brook was less trash than Alvarez Khan? They were trash fights for different reasons. Why is there always some slick angle to try and paint GGG has better or different from other fighters or to distract from ducking and business decisions.

Remember when Jacobs was the guy who didn't deserve the fight cuz he'd get iced like Pirog iced him? Now he is his 2nd best win. See how GGG fans oscillate....

Both situations were not the same. Brooke was bigger than Khan. Brook was undefeated. Golovkin was negotiating to fight Eubank when his father scuttled them by being unreasonable. Getting Brook as a substitute allowed Golovkin to keep the fight in England .

Canelo started out at -300 to beat Khan while GGG was -600 to beat Brook.
