GGG got a very generous split from Canelo both times.

No one cares for your opinion, Keith Idec. Just do your job and provide boxing news. Leave the narrative you're trying to push out of it.
Dah! Go and take some lessons about boxing. SMH

If you can’t get that payday fight go fight one of the top MW and earn it. Can’t understand why GGG fans don’t demand this of him. Same goes for fans of all of the above except Jacobs cuz he just fought the the best middleweight in the world.
I was under impression GGG fought Jacobs 2 years ago and won. Am I missing something?

I thought most people on this forum DKSAB, but after reading these comments I know it now.
Im a Charlo fan, but anyone who thinks fighting Kov is a way to duck the other 160lbers are dumb. Kov is dangerous. People forget he actually was outboxing Ward in the first fight. He also outboxed Alverez before the KO. Dude shows no signs of being so past his prime he can't beat Canelo.

Also, his biggest payday is irrelevant, DAZN should pay him more. The danger presented with this fight will definitely drive up subs.

GGG fans should be ashamed of their guy also. He's looking at a 154lber with no skills, while Canelo is eyeing a killer. If he fights Mungo, Canelo should avoid him forever or at least until he finally takes a risky fight.

This is ******, you're saying Jacobs made a "low" guarantee? Jacobs made 15 million for that fight, more than he's ever made in his whole career , how is this a low 8 figure payday smh
Jacobs only got 1.75 million for the GGG fight. And it was originally postponed over $500k and almost didn’t even get made because of it.

Dazn is their boss and they'll do what dazn wants.
I underlined the part of the quote that officially demonstrates the obvious, that your a gggroupie who has tried to discredit a fighter you have admitted you absolutely hate to the ends of the earth more than your a fan of ggg.

How can you quote something that is nothing more than biased assumptions from a writer who aside from always hating on nelo & nuthugging ggg, Idec is literally in the same exact quote admitting to not having been told that info from any official source whatsoever.

Which is why he wrote "are believed to be" instead of saying" official source". These guys are no different than any fan whatsoever, how do I know you ask? Because I read important boxing twitter just like they do (thats their sources 90% of time)& I was already telling everyone as usual way beforehand that the Kovalev fight fell through & that he was fighting yarde it was already official & others had already confirmed it. You literally just jump from defending ggg going against everything he promised fans like you, to hating on the next Nelo story before being proven wrong again & again.

Seems unsuprisingly many in this thread havent read the article. He wants more because they have to pay Yarde step aside money and pay Top Rank because Bob has options on Kovalev. Might not even be a career high purse after that for all we know.

And GGG fought Jacob's and Canelo twice, now he has to earn another shot at CANELO after getting robbed in the first and arguably deserving the W in the 2nd as well?

If canelo decides to go another route then GGG whould fight someone decent but he doesn't need to earn anything.

But they can't tell him that. So it sounds like Canelo really wants to fight Kovalev, but his team doesn't, but they're afraid to tell him they don't believe in him, so they're trying to lowball Kovalev without Canelo hearing about it so they can tell him "we offered the fight to Kovalev, he's the one who said no."

                      Just my guess.
                      Wrong!!!!

GBP unlike TR and Haymon has never been afraid to match there guys thought NEVER.

And they like a lot of folks believed canelo schools the robotic soft chin kova.
