He had him on his ass but couldn't ****ing put him away. Ruiz took his best shots yet he crumbled whenever Ruiz touched his whiskers and head! It's the manner of defeat which is worrying. Had it been a lucky punch ala Kovalev v Alvarez or Lewis vs Rahman/McCall, then I would say yes. Ruiz had Joshua backing up all night and yet he is only 6'2"!

Just do what khan did, don't rematch anyone who knocked you out. Fight low level fights afterwards and then get knocked out again by someone different.

The problem for joshua is that ruiz is faster with his combinations on the inside than he is. Joshua can't sustain that type of tempo because of his large frame and muscle size from weight lifting. I got a feeling andy can keep that tempo until the 15th round.

One flash knockdown ain't gonna cut it.

He needs to stop weight lifting and start shadow boxing.

That’s what these guys fail to understand, when Joshua knockdown Ruiz it was a flash knockdown/Ruiz being sloppy, he wasn’t hurt and in fact took Joshua best shot after that and countered him hurting him and putting him down...... only way Joshua beats Ruiz if he get a ref like he had against Parker and doesn’t let them fight especially on inside which is why Hearn pushing for rematch in u.k

No fan of Amir Khan, but I do agree with him on this one! I would rather Joshua find a new trainer and rebuild! However, if he's not willing to change trainers, then he might as well do the immediate rematch! Mr. Joshua, the definition of insanity is...

Yeah that is what he needs is to avoid the fast inside brawling. Ruiz us too fast and conditioned. The question is can giant aj dance around the ring for 12 rounds... Hmm I dint see that happening.
