My question to Whyte would be. Why did he and his promoter wait 7 months after the Chisora rematch to have another fight. Had he fought someone at the end of May or the beginning of June, he would have had another possible fight date at the beginning of October to possibly fight Fury who said he has a Sept 21st or October 5th opening for someone else.

Whyte fought Chisora December 22, 2018 and his upcoming fight is July 20, 2019. That’s almost 7 months. In comparison to Wilder & Fury, they fought each other on December 1st, 2018 and then Wilder got in the ring again on May 18th against Breazeale, around 5 1/2 months later. Now Fury is talking about fighting almost 4 months from now again. Typically fighters can fight 4-5 months apart with sufficient enough training. Even if Whyte fought this month in June like Fury did instead of next month, he would have been still been available for October. Prior in Whytes career, he fought guys on 4 months of training, like when he fought Parker after Browne. And Whyte has fought guys on less than 4 months of training like he did when he fought Anthony Joshua after Brian Minto.

So Whyte needs to be upset with his promoter Hearn and not anyone else. The last time Whyte waiting that long for a fight was after the first time he fought Chisora which was over 8 months back on December 10th, 2016. He didn’t fight again until August 19th, 2017 against Malcom Tann. Maybe it’s those Chisora fights they take something out of him. But Hearn should have gotten a fight for Whyte in May or June instead of July to give him more options in October.

But hey, Whyte never does miss a beat in promoting himself, so maybe he does truly think he wants some of that smoke. Whyte certainly wouldn't be as dangerous as even clumsy Wilder was for Fury in the ring... but hey, if Whyte keeps winning, he and Fury will meet sooner than later anyway. I have a good feeling about the next couple years in the HW division. Lots of fun fights on the horizon... scheduled and soon-to-be-scheduled. Great time to be a fan of the sport.
Whyte's not a very good boxer. Usky would box the ****e out of him as would a lot of other fighters besides Tyson Fury. He does however have good power. Been in with some good fighters. He has the Refs in his pocket. He's gotten a few gifts along the way but can still making noise with that big right hand.
As long as one stays away from the right, what does Whyte have? I think he's ripe for a loss. Let's see how his next fight plays out? Lets see who Fury fights next this was some serious cherry picking propaganda @ its best. Tyson's crazy but he makes it easy for casuals will buy into this , jump on the band wagon. Bob and ESPN in full hype mode. Fury can box and he's big a big guy, so really needs to have real fights legit opposition, this was far from that.Fury cracked the code and made some free money $13.5M I believe. Time to earn it and pay the fans back.

He couldn't get AJ a fight in May.

Dylian Whyte deserves a shot at all belt holders he's she more Mando than I have had hot dinner this week.and IMO Whyte beats Fury unless Fury single pot shots and doesn't engage in a figh and tries to box him instead.

Whyte has a much shorter reach than Fury.

Whyte went the distance with Helenius and Parker, and went into the 6th round with clunky Lucas Browne.

Fury wouldn't have much of a problem, especially with his new confidence and his ability to move.

Still, Whyte was rhyte about the absurdity of Fury building up his American reputation by fighting a near-amateur. He had to be especially angry at the way Fury bellowed after the fight like he'd conquered a Top Ranked fighter instead of being fed a marshmallow by Top Rank.
