Comments Thread For: Haye Urges: Tyson Fury Needs To Be Impressive With Schwarz

Former two division world champion David Haye is expecting Tyson Fury to dominate undefeated Tom Schwarz this Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Haye states that Fury proved his class last December, when he fought WBC champion Deontay Wilder to a controversial twelve round split draw in Los Angeles.

I think Fury needs a big knockout.

He’s not had one for a while now. But it’s taken as a given now that he’s a big guy doesn’t look to hit and hurt.

It he lays someone out there’s another bit of ****e in Wilder rematch

Schwartz's corner will throw the towel in around the 5th round.

This will be a shut-out points win for Fury, unless Schwarz's corner pull him out late for being too far behind on the cards and looking like like he's got more chance of catching fog than catching Fury. It won't be a clean KO.

This is an opponent fury will feel confident to turn his shots over on, I doubt he sparks him out but I could see ref waving it after a heavy knockdown.

From what I’ve seen of Schwarz the likely scenario would be a Chisora II type affair.

Schwarz is no Ruiz. Let’s stop pretending. If Tyson can’t knock this guy out then it’s shameful. The guy is wild, inaccurate and has a terrible defense. Tom Schwarz has been struggling to look good against no hopers. No one is blind. Bum sweepstakes is apparent.

I do wonder if Chisora II is the seminal moment of Tyson’s career. Before he would fight on the back foot occasionally but was just as often was 6’9 of inside fightingness (in his own words)

Chisora I was a tough fight. Chisora II was dead easy for him. He seems to be able to take the right hand away completely with his current incarnation of constant movement and feints.

I still genuinely thought he’d try and get inside on Wilder and stay there all night.

I wonder if he will just do the same for the right opponent. That’s not Wilder obviously.

Why? No one's going to be watching this. Very few from his fanbase are staying up til 4am to see it and struggling ticket sales show it's not going over with Americans. I think this will be like the two tune ups from last year where the results don't matter, everyone still thinks of him as coming off a Klitschko victory.

If he doesn’t knock this clown out it will be very disappointing.
