Ruiz had a full camp, fought and won, took two days off, and then he was back in the gym for another five weeks for the match against AJ. So yes, he was in the best shape of his life. He even went a few pounds up from his fight in late April, because they thought he needed more weight against a man like AJ.

For those who have not seen AR train, have a look at his instagram. There are for example videos from February, when he is training with a fysio for the April match. Another session shows him box and doing hydrobics in the swimming pool.

So, he had been training well and continuously at least since February for the match 1 June.

So he was overtrained.
That is not how top level fighters would ever choose to train

No Ruiz did not. He was a step in for cheating Miller and absolute wasn't in proper fight shape. He will in the rematch and will beat Joshy down again guarantee.

I believe Andy trainer had day dream for sure as I had same and it right hand I saw but a year ago but just a few hours before fight. I don't think there is any foul play. Yep. I don't think I ever saw anybody take a harder punch than Vitali did when Lennox hit him with a hard, clean uppercut, and stay on his feet. One of the best chins in boxing history for sure. Vitali was never knocked down as a pro.
