Poll; RATE your FAITH in Andy Ruiz as HW champ.

I love this guy's personality. But... let's be honest... we didn't expect he'd be the champ. How much faith do you have in him as HW champ?

Also, a career isn't decided just by who you'll beat and who you won't, but who you are actually paired up against. I have a feeling he'll take on anyone. That might shorten his reign more than if he was carefully matched like most champs.

I'm not even sure he beats Joshua again. I just saw what looks like the perfect stylistic nightmare for AJ but who knows?

He's not a top fighter and I doubt he will beat Joshua again, but I'll be rooting for him anyway.

I admire Ruiz for his willingness to seize the opportunity as a late replacement opponent and his toughness and determination in the fight itself.

That said, I don’t think he’ll have much longevity as champion. Honestly, Joshua made Ruiz look much better than he really is. Andy has decent head movement, throws good combinations and has a little power -but he’s no Mike Tyson and looks like he’s very easy to hit. Wilder, Fury, Whyte, Ortiz tees off on this guy.

I could see him beating AJ again, and maybe Parker or Kowacki.

I wish Andy the best and hope he proves all the naysayers wrong but I just don’t see him keeping his belts for too long

I hope AJ chills for a little bit and Ruiz gets to take the Povetkin mando defense. Andy is such a cool guy and I really want to see him enjoy his moment in the sun.
I just can't shake the fact that this is the same guy I got hyped about before the Parker fight and he completely shyt the bed.

Yeah, agree. Andy has fan friendly style and there’s handful of good fights that can be made. Povetkin, Kownacki, Parker, Pulev all would be good opponents for him.

In a way, Ruiz winning has injected some excitement and uncertainty into the HW division.

Not a lot of sure wins but not a lot of sure losses either. I don't see him ever beating Fury or Usyk but other than that, he's not an easy out for anyone.

He can beat some guys if carefully matched. I don't think he's very likely to unseat Fury or Wilder. Beyond that I think there are some favorable matchups for him & some not so favorable matchups for him so depends how those potential fights get pushed towards him how long he keeps the belts.
