Comments Thread For: Wilder-Ortiz II A Done Deal, Eyed For September

Deontay Wilder prides himself on being a man of his word. The unbeaten heavyweight titlist meant it when he said boxing fans shouldn't expect an undisputed championship showdown with Anthony Joshua until at least 2020.

I hope Ortiz gets more than 500k this time.

This is a trap fight for Wilder. 50/50 matchup. Good fight, if not intriguing.

Ortiz getting destroyed EARLY, we all know he haven't even looked good since the Wilder fight. Christian Hammer was able to land some excellent shots on Ortiz so his reflexes are clearly slowing down which is bad news vs Wilder Power

OH WELL! I guess all we can do is WAIT Patiently. Load up the damn Card at least like the Pacquiao vs Thurman Card

Wilder ducking Joshua by fighting the guy that ducked Joshua.

Thought Wilder couldn't sign fights without a date and venue? Wasn't that the excuse for not signing the Joshua contract last year?

I like it. Only man who really came closing to stopping Wilder. Can Wilder KO him again, in better fashion? Did Ortiz learn anything? No problem with this fight at all.

Wilder keeps improving and Ortiz is getting older, but I still say Ortiz has a 40% chance here. Good fight imo

AJ has said in an interview today, let Wilder sit down with me and we can talk what the issues are and work something out.

This is man vs man without any managers or advisors.
                      I agree

I'm just trolling but the AJ fight seems to be there this time around they were too quick to announce the Ortiz rematch

Wilder team took it personal last time but you need to keep buisness and personal feelings separate
