I strongly feel there’s no need for a reboot. If players are unhappy with their position, that’s on them, they should’ve have picked better. I’m around 10th on the leaderboard and don’t expect to win this thing so restarting the competition would help me also but it’d be completely unfair on the guys at the top of the board who are deservedly leading as they picked better. Which is ostensibly the objective of the game. Ending the season half way through would diminish the value of the competition IMO.

So the current standings end at the end of June? I thought we were going the full year

No - well, not unless that's really what most players want - there was some discussion about doing something like that at the start of the year and that's what A.K is referencing, but since we never really made a decision on it I think it's probably inappropriate to instigate it now. What we will be doing though is having a list of half year leaders in various categories and also a multiplier drop - 3 x3s and 5 x2s to everyone - also as mentioned in the OP of the masterthread.

Duly noted, man. I'm pretty sure that's the way we're going with it, but we should have made the ground rules absolutely clear at the start of the year to avoid confusion.
