Still too scared to give me your top 10 Mexican fighters and their best win? Of course you're scared. I'd laugh at you otherwise, so it's best you run.
Inoue would collapse Nery as well. Even if the drug cheat is juiced to his eyeballs like most Mexicans and comes in over weight like Mexicans like to do as well. Pray it never happens.
Like Billy SH.it Saunders, Scott Quigg, Callum Smith?
Can you prove than most of mexicans are drug cheaters?
We have more of 200 champions of the world .
Give all the names.
Prograis will beat Taylor.
And Neri will beat Inoue
All legends from Japan Lost against a mexican
Thats a fact

I thought it was a really good, mature ,intelligent performance from Taylor. Ivan certainly made him work for it but I always felt if Taylor needed to he could have stepped up a gear. Prograis is another step up but every time he's had to Taylor has answered. Prograis also has a tendency to throw "wild" punches & Taylor is very adept at good short counters (as Ivan found out tonight). Mind you I'm Scottish so could be slightly biased!!

Josh isn't even fighting in his home city. The Hydro has been a blast but imagine the atmosphere if he could get a stadium fight in Edinburgh? It's the equivalent of Scouser Bellew fighting 4 times in Manchester for his biggest fights. Apart from 3 outdoor stadiums to choose from, Edinburgh doesn't have the quality indoor venues like Glasgow has. Scotland can look forward to some huge fight nights - even if he comes unstuck vs Prograis his peak is still probably a couple of years away. And in about 3 years time, Lee McGregor will be where Josh Taylor is now. Happy days for British boxing.Last edited by Marvlus Marv; 05-19-2019, 04:34 AM.

Great fight and taylor won comfortably on my card. Bara is one tough S O B and his heart can never be questioned that's for sure. Final will be epic. The only thing I never knew about Taylor was the status of his chin but I think tonight proves he can take a shot. Bara imo the hardest puncher in the superlightweight tourny. He will win another world title for sure. Great night of action and damn how good is Inoue? his physical strength and punch power is off the charts.

Cant see it being in the US because the crowd at Prograis last fight was extremely poor

I can see it if he gets bigger without losing his speed, but that's a long way off. 1st round vs Rodriguez he looked a little small, like the range was an issue. Inoue's reach may not be as long as I thought. Anyone know what it is? He's also leaner than he looks. He's so powerful you assume he's big and strong, but he's actually built quite lean.
He also looked a bit Mikey-ish to me early, in terms of the Spence fight. What I mean by that is, he looked a little slow to the target, compared to him at 115. Once Rodriguez started trading with him, and Inoue got into his rhythm, sat down in the pocket and let a two punch combo go, the speed obviously still looked great, but those hints at range that maybe he was just 1/100 of a second slower already, at 118, from the extra muscle, again gives me doubts about how far he can move up.
Of course, if he can grow into 118, settle into it, then maybe he can take the next step to 122, settle in, and then 126, etc etc. It may just be a process. It depends on his genetics, depends how smart and knowledgeable his team is about how to put on the weight... can they do it like Canelo, Floyd, and Pacquiao, smart, or will we see a repeat of the Mikey Garcia snafu where he looked much slower vs Spence and it basically put him in a really bad situation to take a beating because he gave up what was supposed to be his one advantage, speed, and with the change in his ability to punch at the speed he is accustomed to also came him losing his other advantage, timing, because it was like if you or me become an expert at playing Street Fighter, and we play it all our lives, but then before the biggest tournament of our lives, they suddenly change the input time on the controls, and the number of frames it takes to do certain moves, and suddenly all your mental timing and muscle memory that you've perfected your whole life is now working against you because what you are controlling is no longer operating in the timing you are used to.
So could Inoue beat anyone at 160? Certainly his explosiveness and offensive arsenal put everyone to shame at 118, 122, and even 126. But can he carry his speed and power up to 126? And can he do it while maintaining good stamina? It remains to be seen. And if he can't, he will have problems because while Inoue's explosiveness is better than anyone at 126, and his punching fundamentals are better than everyone at 126 except possibly Gary Russell Jr, his defense and head movement are inferior to many at 126 and every other weight class, so if he can't maintain his dominant advantages in explosiveness and offense enough to compensate for that, we will see him in trouble.
But he's still 26 years old. He's not super young in boxing anymore, but there's still room to mature physically, and obviously lots of time to keep learning. I'd like to see Inoue maybe spend some time with some new teachers, learn as much as he can, and keep developing new skills, new styles, head movement, etc. I really don't like Canelo's team after they ducked GGG until he was old, but could you imagine Inoue with Chepe Reynoso? If they can teach Inoue the same head movement drills as they do with Canelo, could you imagine how good he would be then? Then he really might be P4P #1. If he does that, I might actually pick him over Loma in a fantasy match if both were the same size. Until then, he's one of my favorite boxers, and top 5 P4P because of his offense, but unless he got an early KO vs Loma, Loma would beat him up as the fight wore on if they were the same size.
