Wilder fights Breazeale and wins in style with no injury. What's to stop Showtime from calling Sky Sports to seal the deal and force Eddie to decide right there which paymaster he's serving?
What do you mean "force Eddie to decide which paymaster he's serving"?

But I f#cking wish. From all Team Wilder is saying they have no intention of talking to anyone about making the fight everyone wants to see. I'm rooting on it all being a ploy to get a better deal sooner, but if they are speaking 100% truth it doesn't sound like they are looking to make the fight after Breazeale or even this year.

At least come up with a cool logo & some fun sh^t (I see he gots some of those to fwiw & I lowkey dig that crown shirt with that mask he gots, but I need a full on Bird King color Wilder walk in for Fury shirt doe).

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”

Also, you never responded to your idol Wilder selling Tee shirts. Care to comment? Idiot

Eddie Hearn is trying to keep his monster exclusive deal in the UK, while also getting this billion dollar deal from DAZN, and if DAZN's approach in the US is prologue, the UK-based company will eventually set up shop in their home country and come after Sky Sports.

            That's what I see anyway.

So Sky Sports should test to see where first priority lies, imo; work out a deal that makes sense to them, let Eddie know, and see what he does. If Eddie blocks a deal that Sky closed to try and push DAZN into the picture, Sky Sports will know what's what and plan accordingly.

What sorta deal in theory would that be doe?

From my understanding if Sky offered some crazy deal to make Joshua vs Wilder right now, that Wilder would already be in on in your example, it changes very little.

Sky would have UK rights & would PPV the fight most likely in the UK at UK friendly times. And DAZN, as long as they matched the best offer would retain Joshua US rights & show the fight on DAZN at 4am or w/e.

I'd assume Wilder wouldn't care about all that as long as it wasn't some long term deal & it was for the best or equal money. So win or lose Wilder can go back to Showtime.

I think Sky is just sorta f#cked with this Eddie playing both sides sh^t honestly. I mean to me the writing is on the wall. This has two outcomes. DAZN will eventually venture into the UK, as long as they don't go broke as some are speculating on but I don't see coming anytime soon, & thats the point that either Eddie is out of DAZN (if not before) or thats when Sky & Eddie part ways (if not before).

Showtime/CBS and Sky Sports don't really compete, so that deal could be as easy as Showtime and Sky Sports jointly partnering with Wilder for however long, pulling Wilder out of PBC's deal on ITV

Okay, but again I don't get how Sky can put pressure on Eddie or put Eddie in a position to "reveal" his ultimate intent like you're suggesting.

I think Eddie is in a great position right now. He's got a situation with Sky in the UK so if his US ship gets sunk or DAZN cuts him lose he's got something to fall back on. And if his US situation starts doing better & DAZN starts killing it &/or entering the UK & threatening Sky's business he can ride that wave.

I imagine if push came to shove right now he's riding & dying with DAZN, assuming that 8 year deal is legit & its not a 2 year deal & he can be bounced after 24mos. But if DAZN doesn't start catching fire in a few years & the US run is doing subpar & he still gots the Sky situation I imagine he'd just call it a nice attempt at the big time worldwide & go back to Sky if he can opt out of the 8 year deal or after 8 years has played out.

What was the Wilder announcement ?

Only thing I’ve found is his July launch and disclosure for his new merchandise. I’m assuming that was the news

I'll buy some of Wilder's merch as long as he fights Joshua next.
