I’m definitely wacking some money on yarde though the odds will be good. We don’t know how good he is yet he quite possibly could be all wrong for kovalev
That’s what I didn’t get. If he kept his mouth shut the fight would have likely been in the USA for a better paycheck

Yarde's such a unknown quantity doe I don't got massive faith in saying he'll win, but I think he gots enough power to take out Kov & Kov can be hit. And I think Kov is on fumes & loses his mind when he's hurt & don't know how to fight outta it or take a knee or hold or w/e. So if Yarde hurts Kov its over sooner or later & I'd bet on sooner.
I think with Yarde its a question of chin and will.

He hasn't been hit with elite power yet therefore we don't know how well his chin will hold up.

He hasn't been hurt, dropped, or had a long spell where he was being attacked viciously and had to figh his way out of it, so we don't know about his will.

This fight will tell us more about him and it will also tell him about himself too.

I remember people had the same questions about Spence going into the Brook fight, but he answered all of those questions. He proved he had an iron chin and the heart of a lion.

If Yarde has those two ingedients, then he will knock out Kovalev.

But if one of them is missing, it's bye bye for him.

Either way, I don't see this going twelve rounds.

yer, this is a lump type job on a kov KO....wonder what the odds are.

Yarde ducked british level bums in Buglioni and Hosea Burton ffs... but now hes fighting Kovalev?

Why do you think Fish eyes has only put him in with guys that are either:

        A) Extremely old with very low KO %

        or

        B) Guys that are moving up from SMW with very low KO %

hes obviously packing glass and fish eyes knows it, this has cash out written all over it.

... do you think Warren is "cashing out" a 27 yo Yarde?...

Yes because Yarde can easily get knocked out by a fringe contender like Vlasov, Joe Smith Jnr, Barrera, Jack etc. For low money and no title on the line...

... well, I see your point... (but the fact is that this fight isn't even signed yet)...

Good fight, props to Yarde for having a pair and doing this. It's not as easy as people think it is, nobody thought Alvarez would KO Kovalev.

Alvarez had already proved himself as a contender by beating Bute, Pascal and Chilemba, and was ducked by Chickenson for years.

Yardes best win is.....Sjekloca? Darius Sek? nobody has ducked Yarde and infact Yarde and Warren publicly ducked Frank Buglioni and Hosea Burton for years

Nothing adds up with Yarde, the over-cautious approach is gonna catch up with him in Russia though, the only thing he has going for him is that he's still fresh and taken no damage... this is a ca$h out, all day

Yarde has looked amazing at times but against limited opposition. Like someone said earlier it’s similar to the brook Spence situation. IF yarde is as good as he has looked at times I think he’s a live dog in this fight
