That's why there are no mexica champs or notable ones at the higher weight classes, because you can't just bullrush people at 160 or higher because you'll get knocked out. Not to mention, black fighters tend to be much more well rounded than Mexican ones.


Not even saying that to sound racist but most mexican fighters have no amateur experience and it shows. That's the real reason they fight the way they do. For a country with a storied history in boxing their amateur pedigree is lacking. Everybody who gets decorated amateur experience typically evolves into an outboxer and ends up bouncing on their toes. Look at Ricardo Lopez.
