Comments Thread For: Daniel Jacobs: I Feel I Gave Enough To Get The Win

Daniel Jacobs praised "tremendous champion" Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez as the former IBF holder walked away with his head held high on Saturday. Jacobs surrendered his IBF belt in Las Vegas, where WBA and WBC champion Canelo unified the middleweight titles with a unanimous decision.

No you didn't and you and your trainer knew you were losing and you guys still had no sense of urgency to take any risk to turn the fight around. You took part but weren't trying to walk through the fire you had to walk through to win. The right man won and Jacobs needs to somehow redeem himself for not living up to the expectations and hype and letting us fans down like that.

No you didn't lost clearly and was missing badly all night making canelo look like Floyd out there embarrassing you. It was clear you couldn't out of Canelo who was to smart and fast and you were shook to **** because you didn't want to risk getting knocked out.

jacobs knows he lost. But I am impressed with his effort. He stood and fought the 2nd half of the fight. i guess it was due to him getting tired but he got at least 3 rounds in the 2nd half of the fight

Danny, please don't start the new gravy train about how you won, but didn't get the nod. Just like you've been on this BS since you lost to GGG

I heard in ESPN deportes that Jacobs was 186 lbs and Canelo 175, someone with a source to confirm that?

Anyone who found a way to score more than 2-3 rounds for Jacobs is either a rabid Canelo hater or is just woefully ignorant of boxing scoring rules. Canelo was the aggressor throughout and was twice the better boxer. He got a little loose in a few rounds, but this was not really a close fight.

It seems like past his prime GGG gave Canelo a harder fight than prime Jacobs. I always saw Jacobs a shade below GGG and Canelo.

Jacobs has been beat by 3 white men. Pirog, GGG, Canelo. You can tell with his delusion its starting to bother him.
