Only reason I don't think it does is Arum, he would be more inclined to protect them from each other and steer teo to 140, main thing being the 'champion at x weight classes' thing, and once he has the 135 crown, to move on to 140.
Also, pretty sure the Loma camp would think about the possibility too (especially after Salido), and there would likely be something really punitive in the contract if Teo did that.

Zaur Abdullaev is #2 with the WBC. Haney is #3, Lopez is #4. Now we know these sanctioning bodies just create their own rules as they go along but don't they at least have to order #1 vs. #2 first?
With that said, next time their rankings update in May I wouldn't be surprised to see Lopez sitting at #2 since he did just beat Tatli who was rated #9 by the WBC (probably why that fight was made in the first place).

But we shall see. Arum doesn't have the pull with the WBC like he does with the WBO so maybe Teofimo doesn't get it. Who knows. I suspect even if he doesn't get it he'll be the mando for it real quick with 2 guys of the 4 ahead of him getting the title shot doe so if it happens quick enough maybe Teofimo can still get a belt within the next 6-8 months & parlay that into the Loma fight in early 2020.
