Awesome fight but I would bet on Marravilla to box ggg ears off.

Martinez. He was a marvelous boxer in his prime. He's memorable with some of the good fighters of his time.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 04-21-2019, 08:48 PM.

I think ggg a couple years before Canelo would get him in a tough fight. The fresh ggg had more spring in his step and more snap in his punches and would be able to overcome a prime Martinez.Sooner or later martinez would start trading with him.

I remember Martinez wanting mayweather to step up as well as ggg.Come to think of it pretty much every welterweight from Duran Benitez Leonard Starling Curry De la whora Trinidad ect moved up to fight a dangerous middleweight champ champ except mayweather just an observation.

GGG destroys prime Martínez
The punches that GGG landed on Nelo would K.O brutally Martínez
there isn't an accurate word in that post
wow, how history gets re-written after only a few short years
after the Taylor fights..... Pavlik at 160, was viewed very similar to Kovalev at 175 before Ward
he was a killer..... a MURDEROUS puncher, who stretched everyone he fought
YES, that word was definitely used to describe Kelly Pavlik
he beat the Taylor who beat Hopkins TWICE
Golovkin has never done anything like that

but Taylor, the guy who beat Hopkins TWICE..... could not "show how basic..."?
I wonder if that outcome had anything to do with Hopkins ?
