As distant as it may be, the day when I'll see Lopez knocked out will be a nice day. As of now, with all of his indubitable talent, I just can't stand his overall attitude.

Actually Commey already said he needed a tune-up before Loma, to test his hand! That's why I doubt the IBF would order Commey vs. Lopez in July! Everyone is going to use the "unproven prospect" excuse! Pedraza has already done it! There's 2 guys Teofimo probably needs after Tatis: Roman Adreev, WBO#1, and Zaur Abdullaev, WBC #2! I have no idea who promotes either one, but I hope Bob could get one of them, while Commey has his tune-up!

Commey just wants to milk the title. It's clear that he didn't want to talk about Lomachenko at all in the ring after beating Chaniev. First he hurt his hand, now he wants a tune-up. You pretty much summed it up. If Lopez is a prospect and unproven like naysayers on here keep mentioning then wouldn't he be a perfect "tuneup". Commey wants to fight an absolute bum and probably for a decent amount of money.

If López can win a belt he will have some leverage for a fight with Loma, otherwise he will likely just price himself out and then vacate the belt to move to 140.
