Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr. Urged By Ex-Trainer To Stick To One Coach

IBO super middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. has received some urgent advice from his most recent trainer, Nate Vasquez, to stop jumping around from coach to coach and feels that he should finally commit to a long-term trainer. Eubank Jr. used Vasquez earlier this year, when he picked up the biggest win of his career with a dominating twelve round decision over former world champion James DeGale.

Eubum jr is only a eurobum because of his self righteous sanctimonious attitude/narcissism that led him to train himself most his career, which is to say he never trained at all in reality.

I knew hed beat degale because of him actually humbling himself a tiny bit enough to listen to a trainers gameplan for once. If he was to hire Jeff Mayweather hed be a force at mw imho based on sheer athleticism & the fact that jeff Mayweather would finally teach him to stop brawling & start boxing.

Eubank needs to do what he feels is best for his career, I hope he eventually gets a shot at the wbc title too

thats true he has absolutely zero business fighting at anything above mw. I would actually not mind seeing him face any top mw as long as he stops thinking he knows everything & is fmj 2.0(him/his deluded dad actually said he'll be the next Mayweather when hed beat degale,we all know how that went).

His arrogance has always been his biggest weakness & him koing complete unknowns has puffed up his ego to epic proportions just like him putting Blackwell in a coma made him & his father think/brag he was p4p #1

Eubank Jr. coach always was (and still is) Eubank Sr.

He cannot change to much at his age now , his engine is his main strength, he will only listen to what HE wants to listen to and not what he NEEDS to listen to , experience is with an old school trainer at this point in his 30 odd years but no experienced knowledgeable proven trainer is going to tolerate his attitude .

I think he really now need to let go of his father, he has done his job, guide him during his younger days. Jr is now a man in boxing terms. He needs to get away from his father, get a decent trainer for the longer term and stick to one weight class.
