    Comments Thread For: Berchelt-Vargas 2, Navarrete-Dogboe 2 - Finalized For May 11

Miguel "El Alacran" Berchelt and Francisco "El Bandido" Vargas waged pugilistic war once before. The Mexican warriors, two-plus years removed from their breathtaking battle, are set to do it again. Berchelt, who snagged Vargas' WBC super featherweight title via 11th-round knockout in January 2017, will make the fifth defense of that belt on Saturday, May 11 at the Tucson Arena, located inside the Tucson Convention Center

Didn't see this thread when I made mine. Here is what I posted in the other thread:

Like it! Top Rank really hasn't brought it this YET, but this card will do. Give me the winners from the first fight in these rematches.

Berchelt may set himself for a Lomachenko showdown with a win. If not, I hope we somehow get the Davis unification bout. Now that would be a shootout.

This should be very entertaining but I see the same guys winning the rematches. Berchelt is all wrong for Vargas his heart and toughness can't be questioned but Berchelt too strong and younger. Vargas too many wars and cuts.

Vargas took a terrible beating from Berchelt in their first fight. It wasn't competitive at all.

Since Hurd J Rock is on FOX, it'll likely be over by the time the ESPN main events start especially since its out in AZ. Anyway the PBC headliner IMO is easily the biggest/best fight of the 3. I have Berchelt winning easily again (didn't really need the rematch), but will be interesting to see if Dogboe can adjust from getting dominated.
