Gerbasi exaggerating from 135-147. Mikey dropped the 140 strap. I’m more than sure this is all being masterminded by Haymon. Should Mikey lose, how much will Arum offer Mikey for the 135 Green Strap?

Both Mikey and Loma will have 1 loss, and oddly enough Loma lost to Mikey’s Salido.

People should be seeing this as any 140 guy moving up. Mikey is a small Welterweight, that’s all.

Exactly. Posters twist things to fit their arguments. Knowledgeable fans know what's up. Mikey was the best fighter at 140 and a champ. He has a chance.

Didn't he fight Broner at welter (144 or something)? Can't remember.

No, that was at 140. So as the Lipinets fight. And Spence is a massive welterweight.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. I remember Broner fighting someone at 144, maybe Porter?

Then Mikey's moving up one weight class. Doesn't really matter if they are big or not as long as they make the weight, right?

I just about shat myself there when I realised neither sky or boxnation had this on their schedules. For any Brits wondering, the fight is on ITV 4.
