Comments Thread For: Ugas: 100% I Want Porter Rematch, I Thought I Won The Fight

By the time the final bell sounded to end his first career title fight, Yordenis Ugas thought for sure he found the perfect capper to an already remarkable comeback story. The Cuban export proved to be a handful for defending welterweight titlist Shawn Porter, to where viewers were torn on the outcome of their Fox-televised main event Saturday evening at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.

Spent too much time talking and staring at Porter instead of hitting him maybe next time you'll actually take initiative and throw punches. Porter had to initiate every exchange which is why he won the fight.

Which Fight did you watch bro?
When did Porter ever have Ugas in trouble?
Ugas by split decision with a Knock down

I'm in 100% agreement with Ugas here. Unless there's the chance of an immanent unification, then the WBC have to order a rematch!.

I agree with Boxingscene's score card of 115-113 Ugas.

Not going to complain though, it was a close fight, and normally you have to do a lot better rather than just a little better to take the belt.

Could go either way but I had Ugas edging by 1 round. Porter spent too much time trying to mimic Ali and didn't do shyt

So how did Porter win the belt from Garcia? Lol..Porter is a bum and his peeps are ass kissers..1st his pops comes out with a WBC outfit against Swift then he is rocking a WBC charm like that's his rap name or some ****...in short thats fishy to me..who the **** rocka a sanctioning bodies name as a charm unless he is either:
                  1) their personal advertiser(if that's even a word)
                  2) two he is on some heavy uncle tom ****
3)or porters dad has lost all sense of his manhood and is willing to swing in sulimans balls until kingdom come, so long as his boy gets these close nods..
Might sound crazy..but hey I have been called worse on here..

I didn't draw up a scorecard but I had Ugas winning this fight comfortably and convincingly. It was a pretty ugly decision if you ask me.
