Comments Thread For: Spence: I See How Hungry Garcia Is - That Motivates Me More

IBF welterweight world champion Errol Spence is not underestimating the abilities of his upcoming opponent, undefeated four-division champion Mikey Garcia. The two unbeaten champions will headline a Premier Boxing Champions on FOX Sports Pay-Per-View event on Saturday, March 16 from AT&T Stadium.

I foresee brutal exchange of punches within the first 3 rounds.

Possibly...but I envision the first Canelo/Triple G fight. Garcia is fighting a bigger man, so he backs up, to avoid a direct exchange, and counter.

Spence sounds like Mayweather against the guys Floyd KNEW didn't stand a snowball's chance in the oven against him. I wonder if Errol is going to carry him a little? Hopefully Mikey can walk around the streets of Oxnard with his head up after this. Poor guy.

I would feel embarrassed fighting someone that much smaller than me.

"Garcia, who holds the WBC title at 135-pounds, is moving up by two weight division and twelve pounds to take the fight."

Why do they fail to mention that Mikey was a Jr. WW Champion less than a year ago, and beat both Broner and Lipinets at 140? It's not as big of a jump as they're making it out to be! Much more similar to Horn vs. Crawford, than Lomachenko vs. Rigondeaux!
