Manny Pacquiao disagrees with your comment.

I can't fathom DAZN staying afloat if this is true. This is the kind of stuff you see on shows like American Greed where they talk about companies that were run with gross incompetence and you think, "No one saw this coming??"

The obvious strategy is to have the biggest "names" from each division on their roster in order to entice second tier and up and coming fights to their stable. Regardless of GGG slipping or not...the only real middleweight fight anyone wants to pay for is Nelo vs GGG part 3. Until Canelo wins in a clear fair and decisive manner...they can't move him on to the public with any decent interest. For the purists Jacobs is a decent fight....for the other million casuals they hope to sign up...it's GGG who is still their hero. $45 million gets him out of the way.

Too good to be true imo, he was making $1-4 million before the Canelo fights, I don't see how they are offering $20 million a fight. Honestly he might be playing hardball with PBC to up his $$$.

But if it is true good for him and his family, just doesn't seem realistic.

These guys were saying GGG will make more money on PBC because Charlo PPV would do over a million buys lol Jacobs is a nobody, Canelo vs GGG did around a million so not sure how Jacobs will do that amount as well.

They are practically begging GGG to sign with PBC. But what is wrong with these PBC fanatics, they aren’t boxing fans!! Why on earth would any sane person rather pay $75 to when you can watch the same guy for $10 just because of hatred for Eddie Hearn. You’re just ****** if you willing wanting to pay more for fights. GGG could sign with DAZN and decide to still fight Charlo, these guys will still pray it goes to purse bid so PBC can win and put it on PPV for $75.. They would cheer and celebrate despite paying $75 for the same fight that would have been $10.
There is a lot of these LDBC fangirls on here, do you really think they are fans of boxing? They are fans of the promotional outfit (PBC). They might not be an official promotion company but they are in theory. And if you are not with PBC then these fangirls sh it on you. Look at Crawford as an example.

GGG could retire now as he made 40-50 million in his last two fights plus probably 25-30 million before that. Greed takes over though.
Overpaid for guaranteed brain damage? LOL Get the f outta here.

More Power to them for getting payed.

DAZN (still hate that name) had a lot of broadcast right for a lot of sports worldwide. They will eventually recoup the cost. Its called playing the long game.

The "long game" by overpaying a guy in his late 30's whose value has dramatically declined?
Even fans who know nothing of business can see that they won't recoup 47m from TWO Golovkin fights. He doesn't add that value to ANY two fights. That's why this is an unbelievable story that people are shocked over. If it doesn't shock you, you don't know shyt about the sport.

It's either a false report or a sign that someone at DAZN is blowing millions foolishly.
