Charlo just fought a southpaw, and I don't think Saunders is as strong as Korobov! If Charlo wants Canelo, he can't take a soft touch! I think the WBC would make Charlo vs. Saunders a final eliminator, since GGG doesn't want that work! In a perfect world, Charlo vs. Saunders on the Wilder vs. Fury II undercard!

He wants the fight ggg needs to step up.
I know what was meant, man, I was being facetious. Apologies if that ain't your line in humour.

As for the second bit, well nothing Golovkin does now is gonna change people's opinion of him, man. Been the most polarising fighter around since the Floyd and Manny nonsense. Trenches are already dug. You gonna start saying GGGs a stand up dude cos he decided to fight Boo Boo at 37 years old?

Fact is I think it'd be a nice fight and I think it's absolutely one of the best options for GGG if he's gonna continue fighting at MW. Brant and Charlo are up there too as are Saunders and Derevyanchenko. Dude may just decide to retire, though, or I guess there's an outside chance at something at 168. Whatever he decides to do though I doubt he'll be doing it cos he needs to 'step up' to Andrade

Andrade is nothing special. Akavov just ducked and moved and made Andrade miss for 12 rounds (until the ref made a ridiculous stoppage to a guy not even hurt and only marked up by a head-butt). Maybe Akavov couldn't do anything because of the jab (??) but he looked like a glorified sparring partner, just giving Andrade some work.

BTW, the announcing for that fight was ridiculous, acting as if Andrade was SRR, calling misses and blocked punches as if they were damaging, etc.
GGG doesn't need it. This guy has outpriced himself for years and avoided fighting anyone at 160. GGG has been at the forefront of the division for a decade.

GGG should only about big paydays. Canelo 3 is really the only fight out there.

Firstly I kind agree with you in regards to DA, but he was at 154 not 160. GGG hasn’t been at the forefront for a decade. And he shouldn’t be given any sort of pass, he should fight Charlo and other guys at 160.

Why? Because when GGG came to prominence in September 2012 after beating Proska, every dog and their owner were screaming how everyone was ducking him. No one wanted to understand that someone like Martinez needed a payday etc

So no GGG shouldn’t be given that same pass. We should all accuse him of ducking, just like others were accused of ducking him back in 2012/2013

The Russian last night had no idea what to do with the jab...amazing that he and his corner had no other plan to deal with it.

GGG will time the jab and drop a right hand over it on Andrade's chin.

I would like to see Charlo/Saunders...I'd honestly like to see Charlo/Andrade take on one of the top guys (Jacobs/Saunders/GGG/Canelo) so we can see their level. We basically already know what those 4 guys can do.

But dude - Korobov is not strong at all lol. BJS is not a big puncher but what I was impressed with him in the Lemieux and Monroe (especially that one)
fights was how he used his size and strength to bully those guys at times. Korobov looked a full weight class smaller than Charlo imo, BJS will not give away any size to Charlo.

I am a big GGG fan but I think Charlo has a better shot against GGG than Saunders. Saunders will be too hard to hit and will outbox Charlo all day. I don't see that one being close. At least he has a decent chance of landing a big shot on a slowed down GGG.

This guy He’ll keep calling out the top guys in the division with no intention to fight them. Then one of two things will happen 1:Either pulls out cuz he wants more time to prepare (Derevyanchenko) or 2:He’ll price himself out (charlo). With his track record. I don’t know how people still believe this guy.

Fair point. I think the main difference in GGG's case was he had a belt(s) and the fight with Martinez would have established who was number 1 at 160.

I like Charlo and Andrade...but in their entire careers all they have faced is Korobov, Trout, Culcay, and Vanes. Those are the only 2 guys each guy has faced. And they went 12 hard rounds with them.

My point in mentioning that is that there is no real incentive to fight them. For Martinez, with regards to GGG, GGG was at least a known entity. Whether or not the money was there, it would have been a type of legacy fight.

Andrade and Charlo unfortunately just haven't done enough yet. Don't get me wrong - I would still like to see GGG fight them and anyone else at 160. But not only do those fights not make any money, one doesn't even bring a belt, and if GGG walks through them, everyone will say they suck and weren't that good anyway.

Canelo-Jacobs is good, but it should also be BJS GGG, and Charlo Andrade. Winners fighting each other in some order.

This breakdown is also good I think. Andrade has a title for GGG, Charlo gets a money/payday/eliminator fight against BJS. Tough fight for him though. Probably toughest fight for Charlo style wise of all the top guys imo
