fury and holy are both cheats.

difference is furys best effort is beating a shot near 40 yr old, holyfield toppled atgs. Of course the difference is VAST. Holyfield would tear FUrys head off.

Now thats established, I will leave u chaps to pointlessly argue about yer Nana Drolene the whole weekend. g'day.

      I'll pass, thanks.
You really can't argue it. Nandrolone gives a benefit, that's just fact.

In his prime Holyfield often threw 100 good hard punches a round. He was fast, could punch and had a good chin. AJ, Fury and Wilder average about 30 punches a round. A prime Holyfield would be the heavyweight champ today in my opinion.

Whyte would be a really good fight, idk who wins that one.
          weird post.

first off, you don't see a prime holyfield beat luis ortiz? based on what exactly? haha.

Fury just beat Wilder. and Wilder stylistically is a much much easier fight for Holy.

Probably lose to Dillian Whyte. Could put up some great showings against the likes of Dominic Breazeale, Jarrell Miller and Luis Ortiz. Would be an interesting fight against Alexander Povetkin... that's about where I'd place him in the current mix.
I am not a rose tinted moron. I remember how good Holyfield was and I know what an average bunch today's heavyweights are. Cunningham dropped Fury hard and hurt him and Holyfield was 5 times better than Cunningham and hit a lot harder. Holyfield would take advantage of Wilder's wide open easy to hit style to land enough clean flush punches on his chin to take him out. In the Fury vs Holyfield draw both of those slugs only managed to average 30 punches a round. Holyfield would overwhelm them with 90 to 100 strong punches a round. Ortiz and AJ also average less than 35 punches a round. Holyfield can't fight today's heavyweights so it can't be proven if he is better or worse but my memory says he was better and so was the prime Lewis, Bowe and Tyson. I don't think we are in a golden age of heavyweights now. They weigh a lot often because they are very fat but they just don't seem that good to me.

Absolutely, the man had the skills, chin, and heart of a warrior that would've not only competed in todays time but would probably wipe the competition clean.

Lets not forget Holyfield beat a 6'5 Bowe, 6'4 Foreman, 6'4 Douglass, and competed with a 6'5 Lewis when he was past his prime.

Evan Fields would probably be suspended for life as a repeat PED abuser lol

Probably all the elite boxers are on PEDs, but if Holyfield is ****** enough to use that alias and have the steroids delivered to his home, I don't think he would be smart enough to evade today's more advanced and stricter testing

Hard to pick when his prime was. Arguably it was very late in his career.

You can say he beat Bowe, or you could argue that trilogy with Bowe proved he struggled with top level big men. I'm inclined towards the latter. Likewise Lewis who dominated him like a big man should.

I think Holyfield would be top 5 but couldn't go with the real big men in AJ or Fury. I don't know where a poster got the idea that Fury struggles with smaller guys. Did anyone see what he did to Chisora the second time? It was horrible to watch but just too easy for Fury.

It's funny that we think of that era being so strong compared to now. A faded Tyson, the ill disciplined Bowe, cruiser Holyfield. Lewis is a great but so he should be in that context.

When did Lewis "dominate" Holyfield exactly?
