Unfortunately as much as I want it Not to be . It Has been ( for the most part ) a Disappointment for me So Far .
yeah, I want it to succeed at least so the WBSS will be a success. I've been calling that tournament the best thing to happen for boxing in decades...but it needs viewership. A tournament next year at 175 would be huge IMO

Or if GGG signs, they could do it at 160. They basically have everyone signed at 160 anyways and that would be big for DAZN AND the WBSS

So other than WBSS, they had one fight that I was actually excited to watch (Usyk/Bellew) (Which was on in the middle of the day, so I was an hour late to my company Christmas party...that's actually a +1 for DAZN though )
To be fair Xmas and the first few weeks of January nothing really interesting happens in boxing.

Hes got 3 cards to announced between now and the end of March. Couple of free agents new deals supposed to happen next week. Wouldn't surprise me if it all happens next week, and doubt its a coincidence DAZN have chosen Pacquiao/Broner PPV fight week to announce it all and push their "NO PPV" line.

Disagree, unless it's different over in the UK, but December has historically been a pretty jam packed month for boxing over here. It's why I was blown away that NOBODY on DAZN put a card out for the month after the Canelo fight. Everyone with a free trial month wanting to test out the boxing and there was no boxing.

I agree . But would a 175 lbs. Tourney bring it the Viewers / Subscriptions DAZN so badly needs ?
I'm also a big fan of the WBSS as I was of the Super Six . The S6 was great for the participants because of the exposure they got from it .

I'm a Fan of Prograis and Inoue ( should be P4P # 3 by year's end IMO ) . But don't think the WBSS will help them get the exposure they need and deserve .

175 is a glamour division with 4 belt holders and no clear winner. Only problem is that none of them are names unless Kovalev is involved. I think if promoted right, it could do better than the S6 did just due to the quality of the fighters.

Clearly a silly thread in my view. 3 months from scratch they have actually delivered a lot for a little price. I’m not sure how you could call it a complete failure when clearly they are working their way up and are facing bigger competition. To have golden Boy, matchroom and WBSS in boxing alone is a very good start.

Saving boxing? Well that’s clearly well over the top as it didn’t need saving.

Clearly DAZN will want to get some bigger fighters with triple G and Jacobs being high on the radar!

both options are over the top because the claim from the get go was that it was here to save boxing and kill PPV.

Same questions will arise at 6 months. It's not saying it's a complete failure but a failure for the three month point

The WBSS has been good and has put on the best fights for sure.

The GBP card featured Canelo which is great… except it was in an epic mismatch against Fielding. Meh.

The Matchroom USA cards have been very mediocre and the best fight on paper got scrapped due to BJS failing a drug test. Meh.

Now, if they are able to get GGG/Jacobs signed soon, things will start looking better. Then we are looking at either Canelo/Jacobs or Canelo/GGG for May. Then you also got the likes of Bivol who could be signing there soon as well.

Joshua/Povetkin and Usyk/Bellew were nice international fights.

Overall, yeah definitely not close to being worth $10 bucks a month, especially when you think boxing is essentially all DAZN has aside from Bellator. Again though, things can change quickly once Jacobs/GGG/Bivol get signed.
