Oscar De La Hoya was not as sharp in the Sturm fight as he was against Hopkins, in terms of the shape he was in, despite losing to B-Hop. But yes, I felt that Sturm edged that fight and won, although De La Hoya threw and landed some beautiful body shot combinations.

This guy is a piece of s***. After he got his a** beat on German soil against Sam Soliman, who was a broke Australian middleweight at the time. Soliman was done for PEDS after a mysterious 'substance' was found in his A sample blood test, and subsequently he was stripped of his title. The 'substance' was also found in caffeinated beverages. Soliman was then suspended only by the GBDB, but cleared by the IBF after his B sample, surprise surprise was found to be CLEAN. Soliman went back to Germany a year later and beat Sturms a** again finally getting his world title. I f***ing hated Sturm after that, German boxing is one corrupt pile of s***.
