I seriously doubt 9 million would be pocket change even for Money.
He does spend alot of money.
Why else apart from the money do you think that Floyd took this fight then??

Its not pocket change , and he would fight for many reasons :
1. Tokyo is dope on New Years and having a fight there in that evening is Iconic and as you could see a packed house in the fight it was really a great event.
2. TMT brand promotion in Japan , he KO`d their star and took his soul in front of his own fans , probably helped his brand.
3. FUN , some ppl ignore it and some ppl like to hate it , but Floyd loves being under the spotlights in and out of the ring and this was a PRIME opportunity to do so in an exhibition non sanctioned fight.

I never liked him but he is an AMAZING boxer and the amount of hate he generates is unparalleled , I cannot even begin to understand some of the comments on this board when it comes to him , ppl get so angry and hateful its unreal.

As Floyd said - it was entertainment, nobody "loses" and everyone is philosophical about what went on except for the cry babies. The ONLY thing I have a gripe with is that we know Floyd could return for a couple more superfights if he wanted to. The boxing world should apply some heat and see if he reacts i.e announces a return vs one of the top 147 guys. Heck, I'd even watch a May vs Khan fight but I totally resent Khan getting a bumper pay day.
