Are you on Davis' team? Are you in his management or something? Otherwise you would not see anything except media coverage, which you did see of Loma calling him out and Davis going quiet. Yeah sh|t talker Davis went quiet when offered a fight. You can try to twist it all you want, but there is a very good reason he is being matched to the Cuellar's and Mares'. There is also a reason on why they are trying to hang on to 130 as much as possible. Maybe because his style and strength will not be as good at 135?

you shouyld be inducted to "Hall of Shame" for all your childish excuses. or simply join mma forum. those cats dont know whats happening either, but they love to talk sport.
I don't know why you are so angry. I started ****ting on the Mares fight even before it was announced. No need for personal insults. I'm a boxing fan. The only sport I follow.

      I want Davis to fight:

      Machado
      Berchelt
      Lomachenko
      Prograis
      Lopez

Those are my choices if they be made.

Why did Loma just fight his leftovers if Davis is such a cherrypicker?

You still haven't given me any concrete proof of an offer. Fighters always talk shit.

Davis is calling him out now saying he has no doubt he could beat Loma. Loma should pursue that challenge. I also wanna see Davis walk his talk.

I'm not involved in his management or promotion, or in anything. You don't see me making ANY threads about him proclaiming his greatness. He's a talented and highly skilled kid. I'd like to see him succeed. I'm just a fan, he's my favorite fighter. Not a fanboy either.

I was just disappointed in that Linares performance. I blamed that whole fight on the new weight. Made many excuses for Loma and never once said the special ones overcome weight disadvantages easily, as a critique.

Show me where I've ever said Loma is an average boxer or he's a bum. I recognize Lomachenko as one of the best in the world. All I'm saying is Davis is just as good or better. I wanna see Davis prove that.

I like your opinions on boxing.

            Cheers

I've been saying this for a couple of years, and I will say it again. This fight will happen sometime in 2020, unless something drastic happens to either fighter or the promoters fuck it up. That's the date Davis mentioned as well, 2020. It'll be on PPV!

In the meantime, we have seen how Loma fared against a common C grade opponent in Pedraza. That performance against Linares was shit too.
              What are you smoking dude???

Styles make fights. Davis didn't look great against Fonseca, either.

Loma is 30 as of right now, soon to be 31.

If I was Tank's promoter, I wouldn't push this fight to be made until Lomacheko was around 34 and Davis was 27-28.

The boxing fan in me, however, would rather see it while Lomachenko seems to still be at his best/close to it. Fighters age differently, at the end of the day, but I believe based on Lomachenko's style there will be a noticeable decline in his capabilities by around the time he's 33-34. His style is very heavily reliant on his speed and reflexes (besides his technical skill). He doesn't have reach or a lot of power to make up for that. I think sprinting is a perfect example of the decline in athletes that can especially be correlated to other sports like boxing. Based on the statistics, a sprinter's peak athletic ability age is approximately around 26 years old, on AVERAGE. So let's assume Lomachenko has reached his physical peak already, and it was sometime around 26-30 years old. He'll be 31 soon, and I don't really see his skill set improving or changing too much from this point on, so I'm dying to see this fight made soon. If not, I'd rather see him go the Mikey route.

I honestly don't see Tank fighting Lomachenko until after a fight with Farmer. Tank vs Farmer is a perfect fight to use to prepare for Lomachenko, so if that isn't happening soon after the Mares fight, then I don't see it. But I could be wrong, of course.

A Lomachenko vs Tank fight in 2020 sounds possible, although I'd obviously prefer 2019. I see Lomachenko fighting Mikey first, though, and then we might end up hearing fans asking for a Mikey vs Davis fight.

Every fan wants this fight. Hopefully we get it. It won't be this year.
