Comments Thread For: Berto: If Nasukawa Gets KO, Mayweather's Legacy is Damaged

Former world champion Andre Berto says kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa has the opportunity to ruin Floyd Mayweather's legacy forever, and all he's gotta do is go in there and beat Floyd. Mayweather is 50-0 and has beaten everyone from Canelo Alvarez to Oscar De La Hoya ... but, according to Berto, that all goes out the window if he loses his December 31 exhibition match with Nasukawa in Japan.

Unless margaritto is helping wrap his hands there is no way in hell this guy gets anything near a ko.

        It’s an exhibition isn’t it?

Stop it Berto , I see that shutout still stings a bit

Mayweather can get KO in 30 seconds and it won’t hurt his legacy. The only people who’d give a f.uck are the Mayweather haters looking for anything they can to discredit him

Mayweather fighting in this circus is the same as Jerry Rice playing for the Seahawks , Shaq for the Celtics , Hakeem Olejuwan for the Raptors , Chelios for the Thrashers

Even if they hung on a little too long their legacy is already set in stone and no one remembers or gives a sh.it about their last year

The same applies for Mayweather this is a fight that to my knowledge isn’t even going to be broadcast in the States and the only way most fans / casuals will even know if happend is if Mayweather loses or gets KO but it doesn’t even matter even if that’s the case

This is just a exhibition for Mayweather who’s going to fight a Featherweight for 9 minutes and collect another 8 figure payday

          It means nothing

I don't see how Nasukawa can knock Mayweather down within three rounds, under boxing rules, and he's a bantamweight or something like that.

Since there is no VADA testing, floyd should end this fight in less than a minute.

Berta had chance to ruin floyd reputation as a boxer. The jap can ruin boxings reputation rather than floyds
