I don’t see how anyone is giving Mikey a shot against Spence. I think it will be the kind of fight that afterwards, people here and everywhere else will be saying that Mikey was too small for Spence and didn’t carry enough power into that fight to even faze Spence.

The only shot Mikey has in this fight is to out box Spence and earn a decision. But I strongly believe Spence will walk through his shots, especially in the 2nd half of the fight, and constantly invest to the body and impose his will on Mikey and wear him down, maybe even stop him. Or his brother will stop the fight. I’m hoping for a competitive fight and it will be the 1st half. I just don’t see a victory path for Mikey. And people don’t give Spence enough credit for how technically sound of a boxer he is and how he sets up his kill shots. Tough fight for Mikey.

Definitely a bad fight for mikey. I wish they would've tried harder in talking him out of it. What he saw was spence taking a lot of punches. But that was against actual WWs. Brook was a big WW with much more power than mikey and couldn't get it done. He should've wenty after crawford or loma who are smaller and a better match up for now.

I am a big Spence fan, but these guys are sounding like amateurs

Algieri was brittle at welter, we saw that in the Pacquiao fight..... he was a brittle 140lb'er, but he lasted 5 rounds with Spence because of skill..... and yet, they both admit that Mikey Garcia has great skills, much better than Algieri

the " don't see how anybody can last " rubbish.....

we heard all that about Pacquiao, before Marquez.....
we heard all that about Kovalev, before Ward..... and
we heard all that about Golovkin, before Canelo.....

I am gonna say it.....

not only will Mikey give Spence fits, I say that Spence will likely have to knock him out in order to win.....

I almost favor Garcia, who is heading into that fight with BOTH eyes open

any " I am shocked " comments after the fight..... will translate to " I was a dumbass "..... because, all of those lessons have already been learned

Most definitely. Exactly how I see it as well. I would favor mikey if he was a legitimate WW. Hes coming up to WW so that's a disadvantage but with his skills, quality makes this a competitive fight.

For sure people make about it all about size but skills pay the bills. Garcia’s boxing iq is tremendous, sees everything coming. I’m not saying he will win but it’s going to be a real fight
