What is Whyte's excuse? If Ortiz and him would fight it would set up Ortiz to be in line to fight Joshua, which Hearn doesn't want. No one wants to see Whyte vs Chisora again.

The Chisora fight was in negotiations well before Ortiz and Whyte were **** talking each other on Twitter. The only problem was Chisora priced himself out. But when he realised the fight might not be there for him after the Whyte/Ortiz talk, he came back to the negotiation table and signed.
And yes, the Chisora rematch sells a lot more than the Ortiz fight. Especially after the first fight was a war. Brit on Brit fights do well over here. No one even knows who Ortiz is. And why should they?
