Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin Aims To Decide Career Direction By Year's End

Former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin could decide by year's end whether to sign one of two lucrative packages being offered by DAZN or ESPN, his promoter, Tom Leoffler, has informed ESPN.com. Loeffler told ESPN.com that he could soon meet with the 36-year-old Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) of Kazakhstan in Santa Monica, California, where they each reside, to discuss the offers as well as "Triple-G's" desire to return to action sometime between March and May.

Almost all the MW's are with DAZN so that makes sense. If he goes to ESPN he will most likely have to move up to 168 for good fights.

DAZN might be the more lucrative choice, especially if Golovkin plans on a third fight against Canelo.

Yeah right there are potentially millions of dollars at stake here.

DAZN makes the most sense. Way more options and proabably the most money. Also that possible 3rd fight with Canelo. Espn has nobody besides Brant and Ramirez. SHowtime has no one at 160 besides Jermall. Should be a no brainer.

Call me crazy but I believe were gonna soon see a snowball effect of fighters jumpin on the DAZN wagon. My hope is that they get a better commentator crew. So far there hasn't been an big match ups but if we do see better fights the commentary is a big part of what makes some of the fights exciting

There is an option that is so clear to take I don't understand how you can say there's a choice.

The better option is obviously DAZN due to the 3rd Canelo fight. That fight happening would make GGG more money than all other fights he takes combined for the rest of his career.

                    Just what I have expected.
                    No offers coming from SHO/PBC.
They want nothing to do with this monster.
