aww, how cute that you 2 illiterate Canelo f@gs have found each other. Maybe y'all could meet up, watch a Canelo fight together while you stick spoons up each other's asses golden boy style.

But I do agree with you that this is a retirement check fight Lemieux wants, and BTW will get. Lotta fans don't realize, but he only got about 100k vs. O'Sullivan... whereas O'Sullivan got about 300k. That fight was looked upon as a last chance affair, which Lemieux fortunately came out on top with. And maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but I think the entire boxing industry pre-O'Sullivan fight had written him off. I mean, he did look like crapola vs BJS. He'll have better success vs Canelo, but the end result will likely be the same, a UD loss. For some reason I don't think Canelo even wants to stop Lemieux. I think he and his people know Lemieux is a decent draw on his fight cards, and he wants to keep it that way to help boost ticket sales. I could be wrong obviously, but I think there's at least some reality to it.
I actually think Lemiuex's stock would be higher if he had a more competitive fight with O'Sullivan, it was over so quickly that it is easily overlooked. A real slugfest / bloodbath would have done more for his profile after the humiliation by Saunders.

Not Lemieux's fault at all, but he didn't help himself that much with a decisive first round KO in my opinion.

Funny how Lemuix is GGG's 2nd or 3rd best win and Canelo fans dont want nothing to do with that fight. It wont be Lemuix next no matter how much him and his haters wish it was. Most likely Jacobs thats why he's fighting a guy the same height, size, and in Jacobs own backyard.

Im cool with CanCharlo as well. Let Canelo protect GGG from him.

Canelo cant fight two gimme's in a row. ESPECIALLY on Cinco De Mayo. His fans demand real fight. We dont make excuses up for Vanes type fights. I mean that fight was soo bad Vegas kicked it out of town.

Look at the last 4 yrs of fights on Canelos record. 2 top guys who were in their mid 30s when canelo decided to fight them, everyone else sucks. Kirkland, khan, Smith, Chavez jr and fielding. Just accept facts and stop being blinded by the fact that wanna tickle his finger balls.
he has a point, fighting on canelos undercards is not sign of a canelo payday... how many fighters have got the fight going that route ???

Lemiuex just wants the payday. Literally every fighter at 154, 160, 168 is begging for this fight and saying the same shyt. They all want to hit the Canelo lottery. Lemieux is what he is at this point been beaten and knocked out multiple times including multiple losses by B and C level fighters no chance of beating Canelo other then to hope to land the ultimate punchers chance lucky shot. The hilarious part is he is actually GGG's best win on his entire trash resume. Jacobs win is questionable as many thought he lost even in you include that win other then Jacobs Lemieux is the second best fighter he's officially beaten.

That's the irony Lemieux who was ALREADY knocked out by Rubio and already also beaten by Alcine long before GGG is deemed unworthy for Canelo by the GGG fangirls. But when your career is full of fighting the Vanes, and a guy on house arrest like Wade Lemieux who is nothing more then a limited all or nothing slugger get's hyped up like Marvin Hagler. But it's hilarious to hear the same bytches who cheered Lemieux as a great win for GGG now crying and calling him a bum if Canelo fights him. Kind of like the same bytches crying about Canelo fighting Fielding on a quick turnaround as a stay busy fight when he's a top 10 ranked 168lber when GGG said 154 or 168 like 10 years ago and still hasn't fought anyone at 168 and has literally only faced 4-5 fighters period that have EVER been world champs and only a handful of fighters that were top 10 ranked at the time GGG fought them. By definition of his ranking and title status GGG has only beaten 3 fighters that were top 10 ranked at 160 and ever held a world title at 160 and GGG didn't move up weight to fight them. Fielding would be a top 3-4 best win on GGG's entire shyt resume and Lemieux is already top 2. Canelo should and will fight better opponents then Lemieux but why aren't we talking about GGG's utter hot garbage level of opponents his entire career or why he chose to get stripped of his belt rather then fight a better opponent then Vanes maybe like his mandatory a guy Jacobs just beat.

they're in the same division, have the same promotor and out of the other options available at mw, he's the lowest risk. Despite his punching power, lemieux skill level is close to novice. All I'm saying is don't be surprised if this fight happens in May. It's a known promotional tactic to feature 2 guys on the same card who are headed for a collision course. Arum tried to do that with juanma and Gamboa before he let it over marinate, it also happened when canelo fought on a mayweather undercard.

Imagine, imagine if Lemmy did KO Canelo. That would throw the boxing world for a loop.

You dumb phuk Lemieux has already fought on like 4 different Canelo undercards you idiot. By that logic he should of fought canelo 4 different times now. Maybe one day you will be right and he actually fights Canelo but as of now there is no proof that fighting on Canelo's undercard guarantees you fighting Canelo. Idiots have been saying this oh Lemieux is on the undercard that means he's fighting Canelo next for YEARS. Another wrong prediction for clown azzz Jab jab boom

Anything can happen in a fight. And Lemieux packs a holy power.

That being said, I give him a 2% chance to beat Canelo. Canelo will make him silly and would make him at least 98 times out of 100 imo

Canelo has a great chin and way better skills than Lemieux. It would be Lemieux vs BJS again, but Canelo can actually finish Lemieux

                      THIS ^^^^
Let's just take a look at Canelo's last 15 opponents

                      Fielding
                      GGG
                      GGG
                      Chavez
                      Smith
                      Khan
                      Cotto
                      Kirkland
                      Lara
                      Angulo
                      Floyd
                      Trout
                      Lopez
                      Mosely

Now tell me how many of these fighters got the Canelo fight by first being on Canelo's undercard?
