Unfortunatly Ward would probably completely outbox Usyk. Usyk does not box as good as Kovalev, before his first defeat.

I hate Ward for what he did Kessler, and I never seen a less celebrated fighter. He left and no one cared. He'll be forgotten, the only times people will bring him up, is when they are talking about cool champions like Kessler, Froch and Calzaghe. Then they will quickly say something along the lines of: "Ward was a ****ing ****" and move on with their lives.

What's sad is that, Ward had the skill to not cheat to win, but he did it anyway. He also did not have the balls to travel. So he gets what he paid for.

Thats what Im saying. Ward would find a way to win and he'd use experience. The reach is Wards biggest threat but Wards changes level really well and would smother the power.

OT: anyone who can box is a threat to Usyk, have you watched his career? It would be a very close fight, in the USA Ward wins on points, it would be a chess match and hometown decisions and chess matches go hand in hand.

Either way it's a seriously competitive fight, people laughed at the thought of Bellew putting up a fight (I expected it)

Let's see it. Ward was mouthing about fighting HW's himself so Usyk is no problem. Funny how Usyk is getting a lot of hate but where was this hate for Ward when he talked about fighting Joshua? Whatever lots of morons on this board.

I'd love to see Ward fight Usyk but it is unrealistic. Usyk is too big and good. If they were at the same weight it would be a fun fight and then a legit question IMO. But at 200 Usyk handles Ward in convincing fashion. Ward should just stick to his job now, no need to drag him out of retirement. He's done his time, enjoy retirement.

In every way Usyk is a better fighter than K IMO.

No at 200lbs Ward would be a huge dog. Only the most fanatical fanboy would say he'd for sure win. And that isn't a knock on Ward it can be a simple as a good big man beats a great little man. I however don't think Usyk is just good.

I just dont get why Ward is constantly being mentioned..The guy is retired and was not even big at 175..Now they want him to jump up 25 more pounds?

Wards proven to be a great fighter. Usyks proven to be a good fighter. The biggest threat Usyk presents is size. Ward has proven he has more to offer.

Because they don't like him and want him to get his ass beat. This goes on all the time. I don't like Ward but I'll be fair to him or any fighter. Him not fighting Usyk is no knock on him. Hell even if he was in his prime and wouldn't be a knock on him.

And even though Ward did throw out Joshua's name after the K fight, that was just dumb, I would never hold it against him. I get it some times boxers just throw out names.

                      I think Usyk's a great fighter.

Even if I took your assessment. A man 25 pounds bigger that is good is almost always going to beat the smaller guy even if they are great.

If these two were the same size in their prime I think it would be a great fight.
