I don’t actually know what you are trying to prove here? Did Bellew win rounds of course he did? Did Usyk? Yes. All Bellew’s wonderful right hands that he landed was Usyk perturbed or even remotely shaken. How many times did Usyk catch him with one shot that wobbled Tony.

Even the great Mayweather takes a few rounds to suss out an opponent. It’s a boxing fight you have to be prepared to be hit. His style is tailor made for a counter puncher. That is the tactic Tony adopted. When have you seen Bellew gas after 5 rounds. That’s the elite pressure and cutting of the ring that only an Elite fighter can bring.

I couldn’t give a **** arse about both of them but Bellew was knocked out before we even got to the championship rounds so all this he was up in the fight is irrelevant.

These fat out of shape heavyweights will be pressing the action against Usyk and Usyk will exploit them.

To beat him you have to knock him out. If he hears the final bell against any heavyweight he wins. It’s as simple as that. If he gets knocks out, oh well I was wrong. I can live with it it wouldn’t be the first time

What I don’t get is that Bellew was knocked out and you are discussing the right hands that he landed that didn’t have any effect. That should be a story that Bellew tells his kids or nephews. Not you

I just find people claiming Usyk gave away the rounds Bellew won by allowing Bellew to land right hands on his chin utterly ******ed. No fighter tactics includes getting hit clean in the face.

Of course he's a top 5 HW. His resume is (slightly but still) better than Wilder's ffs. Think before you post.

No fighter in their right minds will give away rounds but knowing Tony’s tactic from as early as the 2nd round in the back of his mind he may have thought after being caught several times “ I could be losing but he can’t surely keep this intensity.”...... I think that every time I do a 10 km run and my running partner who I regularly run against is running out of his skin. I thought that when wolves were 1-0 up against Arsenal yesterday and I think that when Anyone is up against Nadal on Clay.

Every example I gave is Elite . I am an Elite runner , ok maybe not Arsenal

Don't argue with them they can't read, its bullying. They don't accept any ranking system other than their own.

Absolutely. I speculated a few days back that this might well be a fight Eddie might look to make... gets to test Usyk at heavy and make money in the process - whoever wins it builds up the Joshua fight for late in the year or early 2020.

From Usyks point of view he gets competitive rounds in against a big solid Heavyweight - the only one who might be less happy is Whyte in possibly missing out on his immediate Joshua payday, but since I suspect the Joshua rematch wasn't gonna happen next anyway and it's hard to see which fight would pay him more than Usyk, I think it should be smiles all round.

Eddie’s favorite gatekeeper doesn’t look dangerous if he’s made to look like an amateur for 10 rounds by Usyk before getting knocked unconscious.

(Before people jump on me for Usyk being “feather fisted” remember that the bell saved Whyte from being knocked out by Joseph f’ing Parker)

That is the possible drawback from Eddie's point of view, but he's got to do something with Usyk, Whyte and Joshua... and bear in mind he's making money off Usyk too now. There may be ways he could make more £s out of it - possibly a filler fight in between each match up, but there's only so long he can drag it out and if he prefers to cut Wilder out of the loop these are surely the biggest fights that can be made. I think that if he wants to sell Usyk - Joshua as the biggest possible fight there is to make he has to put Usyk in with a least a decent HW first and Dillian is the guy who the public know.

He will give him Del Boy. He’ll have 9 losses once he gets screwed on the cards again in April, and the Brits will buy anything Eddie sells them.

Well, I am a Brit and I ain't buying, but yeah - Del Boi is the obvious choice if Eddie doesn't fancy risking Whyte - assuming Hearn wants to keep it in house, of course.
