    Fat Dan's Boxing Beat

Anyone check out Fat Dan's ESPN+ show yet?

    Thoughts?

Finally getting to watch this today & its okay I suppose. Nothing I love, nothing I hate, but some weird random sh^t.

    Random thoughts:

His desk looks like a poor mans Ariel Helwani's desk.

His basement's wood paneling does seem weird.

Idk why they made this a 2 camera operation if Fat Dan isn't gonna acknowledge the 2nd cam. I think a 1 cam podcast-like format is fine for a fat dude who isn't moving all that much including his head.

Definitely shills for TR/ESPN a lil bit but thats not unexpected or even bad given his position I guess.

    Solid guests doe.

And he's always been solid at asking decent questions & primarily talking about boxing sh^t going on & his takes on it.

    I'd give him a 7 outta 10.

The shows pretty decent but more importantly you managed to call him fat 4 times including the title in just one post lol.

He's so aggressively fat bruh lol. Can't help it. His fat is like a girl with her t^tty out. I mean how could you ignore a t^tty just out in the open air. Thats Fat Dan with his fat.

Eh, 6/10. He should just have an audio-only podcast so we don't all have to look at his fat head (lol you're contagious with that bro).

For real, though, there's no reason it needs to be a show like it is. It's filmed in a basement with a p1ss poor "set", the guests are brought in over weak skype connections, and there are very few video clips of boxing. Plus most of the time we're just looking at him head on while he looks off and up to the left at a screen. Just put the screen behind the camera and split screen the video like every other show that has ever existed.

Chris Mannix has an audio-only podcast and if he just turned on his laptop camera it would probably be better than Dan's show.

I agree that he's knowledgeable and sticks to boxing and I appreciate that.

Think they need to either include more video clips/in-studio guests/better set/better camera angles or just make it an audio show (which will never happen).

I'll keep watching though lol, since they're just filming it in his basement they could improve the set and the host by putting in a dam n treadmill

I watched an episode or two. Couldn't hear what the guest was saying because they were calling in on cell phones and ****. Weird format, should be a podcast.

It is better Boxing Shows on Youtube to be brutally honest

Show is OK, you expect better since it is backed by ESPN, not something I would watch Regularly but it is OK

Agree with all of this. Fat Dan needs to get a better internet provider or something.

I've only seen one episode of it so I didn't realize he doesn't do in studio guests, but yea I'd agree with you a 1 on 1 in studio thing would be epicly better.
