Usyk is the clear #1. Beat an undefeated champion, then beat an undefeated unified champion and then beat a former world champion (coming off his two best wins) all in their back yards and did so in excellent fashion and ends with all four belts and the WBSS trophy.
Lomachenko will have two wins. One which is an elite opponent, the other a unification but that doesn't ***** Usyk's year.
Fury had one big win but the tune-ups were crap. Canelo failed a few drugs tests and most felt he lost his only fight so he's not in the running either.
Crawford's competition wasn't good enough.
Usyk is the clear #1 for this year without question. Only a casual who's ignorance of european boxing and the cruiserweight division would disagree.
