Canelo is on track to make good money either way. Only thing I would say is it would probably be better for Canelo to face GGG again just because of the fact that I don't think he realizes hes going to have even tougher fights due to size difference at these higher weights...
I think Canelo thinks since he could take GGG punch that he doesn't have much to worry about but is overlooking the fact that not everyone has to try and knock him out u can be simply outboxed by a bigger longer 6' + fighter because they can hit him and get out of the way a lot easier than he can do to them

Wouldn't say Canelo needs him but DAZN does need Golovkin because they need to eek out at least one super fight out of that contract to have it make sense at all. People get enamored with big numbers because all they do is read headlines and thus journalists don't bother providing details but it is very unlikely he got that contract with no strings attached. What are the strings to reach that 365 because even Oscar has said "Potentially worth" which is a big difference from guaranteed worth.

But that has really worn thin over the years because they haven't lived up to expectations. Canelo is about to make $33M/fight, he could care less if a majority think Golovkin won, because the reality is that it's not unanimous. As long as there are people who think Canelo won, and there are a lot, he's going to be fine with it.
It's team Golovkin that badly need this fight again. Shaming Canelo won't work anymore.
