Crawford just moved up to 147 just a few months ago. So more than likely, he was reluctant (not ready) to move up to that weight before this year. Manny probably heard that (not this year) and provided the statement.

I liked Pacquiao since his first televised fight which I was lucky to see He is an all time great but unless he is just trying to goad Terrance into fighting him he is crazy if he thinks Crawford fears him. Crawford is bigger and in his prime. Pacquiao is too small and ageing. Fighters always stay a fight too long

You can believe what you want to. It takes 2 to tango. I'm not involved in negotiations and I'm not going to pretend like I know and I'm not a fanboy of either one. This always happens with huge fights, May-Pac previously, Canelo-GGG and now Joshua-Wilder.

I'm not going to accuse either side of ducking or get into that stuff. This has been going on with huge fights since the dawn of time. Nothing I said is false or a lie, just keeping it 100.
