Eddie Hearn has Demetrius Andrade, Jessie Vargas, and Reshat Mati as his most high-profile signed talent. Everyone else is either with Matchroom Sport in the UK or signed to some short-term co-promoter deal (no more than two fights).

Without Eddie Hearn being able to deliver a single star for the US-based streaming app, why should Performance Group extend the pact after the guaranteed two years?

All this tells me is Canelo is going to fight about 5 easy fights and 2 tough ones before he retires. I dont see how this is good for boxing. I also font trust people to download DAZN. No one knows wtf it even is outside of hardcore combat sports fans. I heard the numbers in the US have been awful. That's why they made this desperate attempt at getting Canelo.

It was a desperate move that will lose him millions. I just want to see good fights and Canelo has no one to fight anymore. This is what he wants of.course.

Comments Thread For: Canelo's Deal With DAZN is 10 Fights, $365 Million Guarantee

As krikya360.com first reported on Tuesday, boxing's biggest network free agent - Canelo Alvarez - signed a multi-year deal with streaming services, DAZN. The first fight of that deal will take place on December 15th, when Canelo moves up to 168-pounds to challenge Rocky Fielding for the WBA "regular" super middleweight title at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Daniel Jacobs and Demetrius Andrade are both w/t Hearn and are legit contenders @ Middleweight. Also, Golden Boy promotions has a co-promotional deal w/t Jaime Munguia another future foe for Canelo. Plus Callum Smith is another guy that can fight Nelo if he decides to stay @ 168

Canelo is undoubtably the king of boxing right now.

Why wouldn't they? HBO didn't survive off just Canelo so why would DAZN?

Hearns going nowhere 😂 you're just desperate for him to fail... So so sad.

Wonder how much DLH is getting from the deal, if the Money is guaranteed Canelo should have negotiated lower % for GBP. I'm sure Hearn would have happily promoted Canelo's fights for a flat fee.

It's crazy how Mayweather could make that in one fight and surpass that in two fights!
