Not poking fun at TC that was a great, fun fight with an exciting finish but there's no doubt in my mind Benavidez was fighting with a huge disadvantage. I think he could've coasted to more of like a 116-112 loss than what happened to him.

Going by this footage of him pre gunshot vs the second best fighter he has faced the outcome would have been the same. Looks like the same exact fighter. Weak defensive skills coupled with wide punches from his hips. The best thing he ever had going for him was being a weight bully.
