In most of his fights he's putting his all into his punches but I don't see the natural crushing power everyone is raving about.
He was teeing off on that South African guy and couldn't drop him, he dropped Algeria the first time because he was off balance, Algeria also twisted his ankle which made the KO easier for Spence.
His power ain't that great tbh.
You only have 39 posts and most of them are threads trashing Spence. Your dislike or hatred of this great young boxer is coming through loud and clear. I wish he could hit you with a full power straight left in the mouth followed by a good right hook to the body. Then you could tell us first hand if his power is overrated or not.
Yeah he loads up like trying to pitch a fastball and dudes just cover up, this why people put crawford ahead of him because crawford will box and move as well as mix it up, spence really only goes forward with no head movement and throws hard with all his weight
If a guy can quickly touch him with short fast power shots down the middle he could get a shock and might go into defensive mode
I'll say this for Crawford. He put a wonderful beating on your beloved Horn who you had declared the new pound for pound king.
I wouldn't call him a one-punch fight changing/ending power hitter like a Tito Trinidad, he's more in the mold of a hard hitting, methodical break you down type fighter. The punches to head and body hurt and wear down his opponents visibly.
Spence has some weaknesses that I think Crawford would pick up (lack of head movement, slow feet) on and beat him handily (a healthy Thurman being a very difficult match to predict also) but a lack of power isn't one. Unless he moves up he's going to have the heavier hands in the ring.
Really? Didn't they repair it by putting a metal plate inside and all that?
Are you a doctor (no, I'm not attacking. I'm being serious) or do you have some information on this? I'm just asking because I never thought that would be the case. You could be right, but I'm just interested in the info on this. I don't remember reading any discussion on this when reading about his eye socket injuries.
I just kept reading people involved saying that he has another eye socket injury was "unbelievable," but didn't read a statement from a surgeon.
the odds on getting eye socket broke are 3 billion to one and the odds on it happening two fights in a row are 6 trillion to one. I don't believe either one of his injuries
Yea, he hits exactly like pillow hands Pauly....
(Don’t take me serious Pauly I’m just fcking with them.)
Love how u guys have no assessment skills. Has no power my ah$$. Oh and getting hit with 16-18 ounce gloves sparring ain’t the same as as 10oz. Pendejo’s.

out of the millions of fights name another fighter got his eye socket broke. then if you find one see if it happened twice in a row. I see you are from London and the whyte fight was a disgrace. whyte is a ****** POS dirty fighter who fouled parker more times then another guy would do in 50 fight all the while the corrupt POS ref helped whyte. british boxing is a disgrace and what was done to parker I never saw before.
