    it's all about money imho

mikey wants to earn good money by losing to spence and then go down to 135 and earn good money also by losing to loma. because nobody gonna take his loss to spence seriously. they gonna say it was a mismatch

      what are you mumbling about?

loma looking small even at 135 and only had one fight there against a guy who looked much bigger than him. now he's recovering after surgery

some hators really should visit shrinks to check their mental health before it's too late.

funny how ppl hating on loma for fighting rigo (though he didn't ask for this fight) now want him to go to 147. why not heavyweight. comedy.

You just start watching boxing, its not always about the name you beat its the way you do things and carry yourself.

Your like the fool that watches a champion racehorse do track work and says he don't look very fast, learn the sport buddy and you will see great fighters long before the fool ever does.

Garcia is merely looking to follow the Khan and Brook blueprint of getting KO'd brutally, but getting a good payday, by straying out of his lane...,I mean divisions.Who he thinks he is? Sugar Ray Robinson?

its funny how so many people are slating mikey for wanting to challenge spence yet the same people give out about joshua/wilder not fighting each other. applaud the man for wanting to move up to face the best..he's the one putting his legacy on the line and if more fighters acted like mikey the sport would be more entertaining for all of us

This is how legends are born , but as with anything that seems impossible to conquer this seems to me like an impossible mission for Mikey to pull off , as i dont see Spence taking any major fight in WW i won't mind seeing this fight and maybe even watch one of the biggest boxing feat of recent years , will be amazing if he does take the W somehow.

You might want to look around at the boxing publications (ESPN, Ring, TBRB, etc.). You won't find any that don't have Spence in their top 10 P4P list.

So it's not the author that's the fool, it's you lol

This fight has everything to do with legacy, honor, prestige, glory and patriotism for himself and the people of Mexico and of Mexican descent.

Obviously he sees something in Errol Spence that the rest of us don't see. He is targeting the youngest, least experienced, less seasoned, greenest and less skilled of the current champions at 147. Despite the physical disadvantages, Mikey feels like he is the more skilled, fundamentally sound, experienced, seasoned and more polished of the two fighters.
Exactly! I don't know why there is so much hate for Mikey! He's challenging himself! That's what we want! Why should he sit around and hope for a fight with Lomachenko, when he already knows that Bob Arum will be calling all the shots (network, venue, date, etc.), plus Loma is coming off surgery? That would be a waste of time! I'm proud of Mikey, win, lose, or draw! After Spence, he can go back to 140 for a title shot whenever he wants! Baranchyk, Relikh, and Prograis, are all easy fights to make for Showtime! I think his plan is brilliant!!!

Or Mikey is afraid of Pacquiao?!
Pacquiao did NOT call out Mikey! He DID call out Lomachenko! You should be asking whether Lomachenko is afraid of a 40-yr. old Pacquiao? Had Mikey called out Pacquiao for his WBA title, you would be calling him a coward for fighting an old Pacquiao instead of a young Spence Jr. or Crawford! Tell Lomachenko to step up to 140 for that check!
