Wilder's profile is strong enough, and their initial confrontation drew monster interest in the US, tbf.
The only real bar is convincing the public that Fuey is fit enough to make it a competitive fight (very few people actually sat down and saw the Klitschko-Fury fight, but the passage of time let the **** fight fade away and let folks only remember that Fury beat Klitschko).
Wilder fought in March, and will likely fight in October/November if the Joshua fight officially dies. Fury fought in June, is set to fight again in August, and could likely get a live body to fight before the end of the year.
If Fury can show enough to make it a fight, the hype begins and you can stage Wilder-Fury in March/April.

Lol Wilder is comedy gold. He thinks all this bluster and jibber jabber makes it seem like he's been ducked but it only reinforces the idea he's going over board on trying to prove he didn't duck the fight.
Joshua in comparison hasn't said a peep, just gone about business as usual. One of them if a real life warrior the other is a twitter/keyboard warrior.

Wilder has Stiverne and Ortiz as his best fights, and then has a slate of top 50 heavyweight fights under that
Wilder has fought two credible challengers in double the fights, and as for swerving Kubrat? He was the one initially saying he needed a few more months preparation time and then pulled out with an injury. You can't just type something and then hope it becomes reality deal with facts.
Where's the proof that AJ ducked Ortiz? I remember Luiz calling out AJ personally and Aj saying let's go or along them lines. It's like trying to say that Wilder ducked Povetkin cos that fight didn't go ahead - they're both ridiculous statements made by biased fanboys of AJ/Wilder.

Wilder has been in more fights, but the fights he's had worth even mentioning are still:
Scott, Stiverne, Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Washington, Ortiz, and maybe Chris Areola and Liakhovich.
Add Povetkin for Joshua and Breazeale for Wilder, and you've got the slates of fights worth even talking about.
The Wilder quip doesn't work, because the Povetkin fight only didn't happen because of Povetkin pissing hot and nothing to do with Wilder.

Those names you named for Wilder though are mostly pathetic. Hes had two decent opponents. I like the guy but keeping it real.

We can be fairly certain that Joshua-Klitschko split $45m on their fight (with each guy keeping their personal sponsors).
