He wants this fight solely because he wants to be the undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world. Those A side perks are meaningless to him.

Also, Yes you make a very valid point too. AJ does have more leverage than Wilder and holds more cards as well. Therefore, he deserves to get the A side treatment but at the same time he has to be reasonable. He has to show Deontay Wilder a certain amount of decorum and respect for being the WBC champion and a titleholder which he is not doing.

You don't low ball a champion with a flat-fee offer with no percentage of the purse split or any upside from the live gate or pay per view sales. That was wrong and unethical and makes me believe that they didn't want the fight to begin with for he is the WBC champion for crying out loud.

Their offer was tantamount to rudeness, arrogance and disdain but because of us fans Wilder accepted it in order to give us the fight that we wanted to see. What I believe would be fair is a two fight deal; With the first being in the U.K and a 60/40 split of the purse in the favor of Anthony Joshua since he is the bigger box office draw.

If those terms are not agreed to then I believe that there should be no fight.
Well, everyone draw their analysis based on the information reaching then.
Wilder has been a title holder for about 3yrs averaging about 1.5mil a fight. To promoters, 15mil is a massive deal based on their evaluation of is worth and he is bringing to the table but to some fans he is worth much more than that but unfortunately fans don't make fights.
If he is doing it for the fans and not the money, firstly he wouldn't have demanded 50/50 or no fight.
Secondly, he claims to be the baddest guy everybody is afraid of and can anywhere, and some fans are so confident he is going to KO AJ including wilder himself. I don't see reason why he needs a two way fight.
Just go to the UK, KO this guy and take all the belts back to the US. Let him be the one looking for you for a rematch
I see no reason why he didn't sign that contract.

Joshua who brings in a fortune, comes along with a collection of belts Wilder could have chased up, and now we have a noise. I don't know what that says about Wilder.
Assuming they both keep winning they'll fight, just not as soon as we'd all like. They all want money, so it'll most likely happen eventually. (even of one loses a fight and gets a couple wins back under their belt).

One thought I consider a possibility is Wilder's style and broad marketability was considered a risk by his backers and there wasn't enough money bet behind him to bring in top names. If Wilder himself was making 2 million tops, despite his KO record, what was the appeal of the payday for prospective opponents to take the risk?
        Just a possibility, I don't know.
I honestly don't think there was a chance in the last 3 years at least. Wlad was out of the ring for a year and a half after the 2015 Fury fight, then signed to fight Joshua after that. Wilder sparred with him over 50 rounds in preparation for the Wach fight. Wlad gave Alex Leapai a title shot two years after that. What a joke.

I think Wlad wanted the Joshua fight because he was green and was a winnable fight. Joshua wanted the fight because Wlad was 41, was out of the ring for 1.5 years, and looked horrible in his previous fight. Wilder was too risky. Wilder was green too, but a bigger puncher that is wild at times and unpredictable.
