Did the split remain 57.5/42.5% but he threw in a few million to sweeten it? He never says what the split ended up being or exactly how much he added.

This is just another PR spin by DLH for appearances. All DLH needs to do is raise ticket prices, PPV price, TMobile deal, Promoter split, or simply count on guaranteed increase of sales to make his money back. It's sacrificing a few dollars now to gain multiples in return for your investment. Seems like sound reasoning to me. Glad the fight got made no matter what the ins-n-outs are.
