Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: I Want To Do a Number on Postol, Knock Him Out!

This Saturday night at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, hot junior welterweight Josh Taylor (12-0, 11 KOs) will face his biggest test to date. Taylor will collide in the ring with former world champion Viktor Postol (29-1, 12 KOs). Postol's sole career defeat came at the hands of Terence Crawford, by way of a twelve round decision, and many view Crawford as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.

I'm indeed nearly willing to put some money on a Taylor knockout win.

Taylor will stop him mid rounds, I expect a few KD's and a referee stoppage.

Never rated Postol but i hope all the Crawford lovers give Taylor credit if he stops Postol, considering a UD over Postol is Crawford's best win.

Lol at Crawford being "p4p no.1" - Taylor could possibly win in better style in his 15th fight.

Just shows how paper thin Crawford's resume is.

Taylor is going to monster him. Doubt Postol makes the second half of the fight. He’ll go out on his stool rather than his shield.

I rate Crawford, i think he might be the real deal but there's no real proof yet against genuine quality opponents. I just can't put a guy that high p4p when his best win is Postol. Just because he unified a weak division, it doesn't mean he should be considered one of the best.

I'd say the same about fighters I am a fan of. GGG shouldn't have been considered a top p4p when his best wins were guys like Murray.

Top p4p fighters for me were guys like Ward and Mayweather, who were beating other guys considered top 10 p4p. Sor Rungvisiai more recently is deserving of it.
