Canelo had been chasing the Cotto fight for YEARS
since long before Cotto won the WBC middleweight strap.....
that fight had been been brewing for a long time..... so, NO.... it was not a total sham
what it was..... or rather, was not..... is justification for calling Canelo a genuine middleweight champ..... let alone ranking him at #1
and the reason why is, because both of those guys were JMW's..... Cotto weighed 153, and Canelo had never weighed more than 155
