Yeah it's going to be on the undercard of Mosely vs. Vargas. Damn, don't feel like paying to see two over the hill guys go at it again. Randy's odds aren't to good either but I think he has a better chance than many think. I may order the fight anyway. I think it will be a good fight. Randy is going to come out with alot of Pride and wear his heart on his sleeve. That alone will make it a tough fight for Juan Diaz.

Suico is slow as ****, but he sure can pop(21 KO out of 24 victories). The two fighters who beat him(Fana & Jauregui) were on their bicycles the entire fight and outboxed Suico through hit and run tactics.

A lot of people say that Juan Diaz is featherfisted but he sure makes up for it through his constant aggression and pressure. I think Diaz will NOT run from Suico so this will be a good fight. This will also test if Diaz has a chin.

The only way Suico would have a "bigger" chance of winning is if he gets a world class trainer like McGirt, Beristain, Steward, Mayweather, Roach....etc. He needs to improve his speed and footwork.

Diaz is a tayor made for suico... as long as diaz won't run and will trade with suico...Diaz will be slaughtered like a bull in the philippines...

i saw his law fight against jose miguel cotto... diaz is a volume puncher with less power.

he is the oscar larios of 135lbs. i think.

i know that suico is the underdog on this bout...if diaz will be caught by BOMB's.. it would be bye bye..

I havent seen Diaz fight but from the posts I have seen about him, it looks like hes not the type who runs away. That maybe the biggest mistake one can do against Suico...Honestly, Randy has more power than Manny Pac.Problem is, he is 100% slower than Pacman.Ok, im exaggerating but the bottomline is, Randy is no speed demon. But he is very strong and has a granite Chin!I believe this fight is not as one sided as most people think...Just my 2 cents... ;P

Suico has a date with Silverio Ortiz in the Pac-Larios undercard.

Ortiz has taken out only seven foes in 17 fights that he won. He has had 9 losses. He has been stopped only twice, but both stoppages were not KOs. Both were corner retirements (one on advice of the ring doctor).

Ortiz has faced much better (far and away) quality opponents: Jorge Paez (to whom he officially lost only after a review of the tapes by the commission; he took out Paez while the ref was separating them), Mike Anchondo (doctor advised Ortiz's corner to stop the fight in the 4th), Steve Forbes (lost to Forbes by UD), Daniel Seda (for Seda's second loss after losing to Casamayor by UD although both Seda and Casa tasted canvass in the 5th), Ricardo Dominguez (for Dominguez's first and only loss) and David Diaz who currently holds the IBA Light title.

Ortiz, though shorter than Suico by an inch, now usually campaigns at Jr. Welter, while Suico is Jr. Light.

It is best for Suico not to think of Juan, yet.

Edit: It is helpful to remember that Suico failed to stop the small Israel Melendez who had been stopped some three years earlier by Oscar Larios in two.
